Pakistani legendary cricketer Younis Khan has said he will donate his cash prize of 10 million rupees to Edhi Foundation and other charity organizations. He and all the other cricketers received this cash from the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in a ceremony arranged in lieu of team’s exceptional performance in the ICC champion’s trophy 2017.
Younis Khan recorded a video on Thursday saying that he is thankful to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for this cash prize. He also said that he will donate all this cash to 3 charity organizations. These charity organizations include Edhi Foundation, Indus Hospital, and the Citizen’s Foundation (TCF). He said that he hopes that this charity will reach to all those who are in need and will help them. Younis Khan has also requested the exemption of tax from this donation so that this reaches as many people in need as possible.
The PM Prize For Team and Management
As told earlier, Younis Khan got this cash money from the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as a prize of his exceptional skills. Earlier this week, a ceremony was arranged by PM house to celebrate the win at ICC Champion’s trophy. A cash prize of 10 million rupees was awarded to each player and also to the chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team Inzamam ul Haq. The bowling coach of the team, Azhar Mehmood, was awarded 5 million and the team manager, Talat Ali, was given 2.5 million. Other officials from the Pakistan cricket board PCB were given 2.5 million rupees each. All the other members of the selection committee were given 1 million each. The head coach, bowling coach, and fielding coach were given 5 million each.
