A story of age-old conflict between religious ideology and human emotions, beautifully written by Hashim Nadeem Shah, Khuda Aur Mohabbat has been a big hit in Pakistan. It is one of those dramas that leave an everlasting trance on audience’s heart and soul.

The story revolves around Hammad (Imran Abbas) and Imaan (Sadia Khan) whose families are poles apart. Will their families ever accept their relationship?

Khuda Aur Muhabbat was so popular that the audiences demanded a sequel which is under production this year.

Dastaan (Hum TV)


A tale of love, struggle, family and relationships amidst the Indo-Pak separation, Dastaan left an eternal impression on all its viewers. Based on Razia Butt’s novel Bano, this incredible drama adaptation was widely appreciated.

Fawad Afzal Khan and Sanam Baloch have done justice to the roles of Hassan and Bano. The other star cast, storyline, screenplay, and direction were also awesome that made this drama bag the list of best Pakistani dramas on Hum TV.

Daam (ARY Digital)


Starring Adeel Hussain, Sanam Baloch and Amna Sheikh in lead roles, Daam is one of the most brilliant productions of 7th Sky Entertainment.

Though at first, it seems a simple story of two best friends with different social status, but as the story progresses, it uncovers an ocean of complications.

Captivating the audience with its thrill and drama, Daam is a must-see.

Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan (Geo TV)

Geo TV aired the best drama in its history with Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan. It is a story of betrayal, regrets, and self-discovery. MZZB is a play that takes you on a spiritual journey. The OST beautifully sung by legendary Rahat Fateh Ali Khan adds to the intensity of the scenes.

The drama left the audience awestruck with its every episode. Sammiya Mumtaz as Saba and Faisal Qureshi as Arfeen were also incredible.

Humsafar (Hum TV)

Humsafar is one of the most talked about dramas. Though the story is too mainstream, the direction of Sarmad Khoosat and the power-packed performances of Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan as Ashar and Khirad made it a masterpiece.

It is not only acclaimed by Pakistani audience but also the Indian audience.

The beautiful ghazal written by Naseer Turabi seems to be a perfect score for the storyline. Waqar Ali’s composition and QB’s voice has simply glorified the mesmerizing lyrics.
