Pakistan has been home to some of the best playwrights who have always managed to write scripts that go on to earn immense popularity and appreciation from the TV viewers due to their quality and depth. For this very reason, it has not been an easy task for the drama writers who surfaced later on to fill in the shoes of these maestros. Among the newer crop of drama writers, Ameen Iqbal is a prominent name.
Ameen has not only proven himself to be a good drama writer in dramas such as 'Sanwali' (Hum TV) and 'Anokhi' (A Plus) but he has also proven himself to be an equally competent drama director as well as a drama producer. What further adds to his versatility is the fact that he has written dramas for private channels as well as the state-run Pakistan Television (PTV).
In the drama serial 'Dobara' (PTV), Amin also played the duties of a drama producer along with writing the play while the drama serial 'Woh Subah Kab Aye Gi' (ATV) was penned as well as directed by him. He also wrote the telefilm 'Yeh Jugnu Hamaray' (Hum TV).
