The name of Sajjad Sajji has been associated with quality programming and a prime example of his talent has been the fact that not only has his work been recognized by the viewers but he has also been given a number of awards for his efforts in promoting better standard of programming and contributing towards it as well. He has contributed to television in the capacity of a writer, director and program producer.

One of his most appreciated plays in recent times was the telefilm titled 'Ada-e-Sarfaroshi', which was a part of the first season of the army drama series 'Faseel-e-Jaan Se Agay'. The drama series is being aired on Pakistan Television (PTV) and is produced by Inter Services Public Relations to narrate the true stories of those Pakistani soldiers who gave their lives fighting to defend their country. Sajjad depicted the life of Hawaldar Naeem Asghar Shaheed through the telefilm.

He also wrote the teleplay 'Saraab', which was a part of the drama series called 'Tamasha Ghar'. Sajjad has also been credited with the production and direction of children's program 'Kidz Kourt', which earned him the award of best producer for children's program for the year 2007-2008.
