There was a time when females making a showbiz career was considered to be a taboo and not something that girls from good families would do. However, with time, the perception changed as people from educated backgrounds started entering the field, making way for a greater number of female artists to show their acting skills.
Among the newcomers who have made their mark on small screen, Natasha D'Souza has gained recognition or her work in a number of dramas. Her drama 'Diya Jalay' (ARY Digital) has been among the most celebrated and watched dramas of recent years. Apart from that, she has done two drama serials on Geo TV by the name of 'Koi Aur Hai' and action drama series 'Hit'.
Natasha has also appeared in the tele film 'Aey Bhai Zara Dekh Ke' (Hum TV). She was also cast in the short film '24 Ghantay', directed by Shahid Shafaat. the film was screened at the 2005 Kara Film Festival.
