The Pakistani entertainment industry is fortunate to have been blessed with some of the best comedians of all time, who in turn trained people after them in the art. Faisal Qazi has been a comedy artist whose training was done by the comedy great, late Moin Akhtar.
After spotting Faisal's talent during a performance, Moin Akhtar took him under his wing and it was through the efforts of the late guru that Faisal landed a role in Athar Shah Khan's drama 'Haey Jaydi' in the year 1994. Although his role was minor in the play, Faisal managed to get noticed by other television producers. He then performed in 'Club 95', which aired on the former channel STN.
However, it was 'Such Much' that was aired few years later from PTV that changed Faisal's status from a budding performer to a seasoned artist. Apart from that, he has also appeared in numerous dramas such as 'Kalloo Kababi' (TV One), 'Chanp Tayyar Hai' (TV One), 'Teray Aney Ke Baad' (Geo TV) and the most recent, 'Mirza Aur Hameeda' (TV One) that was also the last drama serial late Moin Akhtar appeared in.
Faisal also did a number of independent projects among which his program 'Siyasi Thaika' (Samaa TV), which was based on political satire. Faisal also runs a side business by the name of 'Tehzeeb' that offers formal eastern clothing for women.
