Dramas in Pakistan have undergone a definite revolution after having experienced a period of slump. The past few years have seen the revival of television in terms of entertainment value, attracting more people to join this medium and contribute with whatever skill they possess. In the same way, the recent past has seen a large number of new dramatists come up and write some of the best dramas seen in the history of Pakistani television.
One such writer is Atya Daud who has made a place and name for herself in the entertainment industry over a very short span of time. She is the writer of the sequel to the drama serial 'Husna Aur Husn Ara', by the name of 'Husn Ara Kaun', both airing on TV One. While the original was adapted from Umera Ahmed's novel, Atya kept the same essence alive in the sequel she penned.
Although it is not easy to follow someone else's original work and make a follow up story about it, but Atya managed to keep her originality alive even though she had to keep the characters of the original play intact, making it a delightful experience for the viewers.
