There was once a time when Samina Humayun was best known as actor Humayun Saeed's wife. Now not only is she known through her husband's name but also through her own standing as a TV drama producer. Having set up her own production company in collaboration with Shahzad Nasib, Samina has established her name in the industry as a reliable and quality oriented drama producer.
These days, her flagship production 'Akbari Asghari' is on air on Hum TV and is already becoming quite popular among the TV viewers. She has also been involved in the production of drama serial 'Ijazat', which aired on ARY Digital and starred her husband Humayun Saeed alongside Aisha Khan in lead roles. Another famous drama produced by her production house is 'Mehmoodabad Ki Malkayain', which also aired on ARY Digital.
Other production ventures in which she has received success include drama serials 'Neeyat' and 'Daddy' (both airing on ARY Digital) as well as Mother's Day special play 'O Meri Ammo' (ARY Digital) and telefilm 'Bhaag Amina Bhaag' (Geo TV).
