Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) deserves the credit for introducing and building the careers of numerous talented individuals both on screen and behind the camera. In that way, PTV has always been considered an institution by the senior people who have been associated with it for decades and have contributed a great deal towards the development and promotion of the channels as a family entertainment provider.
Manzoor Magsi is a name that has been synonymous with quality productions and best quality dramas for decades. Being associated with PTV all his professional life, Manzoor has devoted himself towards the cause of directing high standard dramas that have always stood out among their peers in terms of their quality and entertainment value. His most famous drama to date has been 'Intezar', which was aired on PTV Home a few years ago.
Other popular and well liked dramas liked by him include the classic Urdu drama 'Mirza Ghalib' (1975), which starred Indian actors like Naseeruddin Shah. He made an issue-based drama called 'Ghuttan' in the year 2003-2004. Another famous drama directed by him few years back was 'Pani Ki Deewar'.
