Naveed Shahzad has been a very well known name among the lovers of performing arts in Pakistan and Lahore in particular. Television viewers might remember her clearly from the super hit drama on Pakistan Television (PTV) called 'Ghulam Gardish'. However, the generation of today might not know that Naveed made her debut on TV in the 1970s with the comedy skit show 'Such Gup', in which she appeared alongside small screen veterans like Shoaib Hashmi and Salman Shahid.
Wife of the famous cricket commentator Shahzad Humayun, Naveed acted in a number of TV dramas such as 'Chashman' (2006) and 'Jo Na Mil Sakay' (2011), both of which were aired on PTV and received a lot of appreciation from the viewers. However, Naveed's basic interest has always been theater and that is what she has mainly focused on.
By profession, Naveed has been an English teacher at few of the most prestigious institutes of Lahore.
