Syed Faisal Bukhari has proven himself as a renowned film and TV drama director, producer and even a cinematographer. Right after college, he stepped into TV drama direction, with the play 'Paranda' being his first project as a director. The drama was aired on Pakistan Television (PTV) and focused primarily on women issues.
Later on he directed a number of drama serials for PTV such as 'Zanjeer', 'Barson Baad' and 'Maamta'. Following these projects, he took a few years' break from TV and made a comeback towards the entertainment medium in 2004 after the launch of private channels. Upon making a comeback, the first drama serial he directed was 'Mehndi Walay Hath', which was aired on Geo TV.
He has also directed another Geo TV production by the name of 'Safaid Posh'. With his success in TV drama direction, Faisal also made a move towards cinema and made the film 'Bhai Log', which was moderately successful at the box office. He is working on another film project called 'Sultanat'.
