The show business industry of Pakistan has seen many newcomers enter the field and while many of them fail to make an impression, there are still some who leave an impression on the audiences' minds. Aamir Khattak has been one of the freshly introduced talents in drama production who has gradually managed to become a household name for the television followers in the country.

Aamir's work has primarily been aired on the private channels and thus is free of the conservative approach that a large portion of Pakistan Television (PTV) dramas have been accused of. He has been known for his remarkable special play that he produced for Mother's Day by the name of 'O Meri Ammo', aired on ARY Digital.

Although Aamir does not have an experience of decades behind him, he has still produced plays with very diverse themes. His soap 'Angoori', which deals with the impact of a patriarchal family setup in the social backdrop of the Northern Areas of Pakistan.

He has been long associated with TV One, producing a number of long plays such as 'Kaun', 'Aalan', 'Tohfa', 'Woh Kaun', 'Aamna', 'Bheria', 'Aik Mard' and 'Khalida Ki Khalid'. He has also been associated with some of the most popular drama serials like 'Mann Se Poocho', 'Husna Aur Husn Ara' and 'Haroon To Piya Teri'.
