The revival of quality dramas in Pakistan has seen a number of bright and talented individuals enter the field of show business, not only to make a name for themselves in front of the camera but also to establish themselves behind the camera. As no drama can be complete without good direction, it is a sign of hope that there is a new crop of directors getting appreciation from the television audiences.
One such director is Syed Irshad Ali, who is more popularly known by his nickname Arshi. Arshi has been an integral part of the A&B Productions, which is a drama production company formed in partnership by Asif Raza Mir and Babar Javed. Under the production house, he has brought forward several drama serials such as 'Umme Kulsoom' and 'Gardish', both of whom aired on ARY Digital.
He also did a family drama with Evernew Entertainment by the name of 'Aasman Chhoonay Do', which aired on Geo TV and became very popular among the audiences.
