Anyone who hears Ghazal Siddiq's name automatically relates her to her first drama serial 'Marvi'. In fact, many people even to this day are not aware of her real name but know her by the powerful and unforgettable character of Marvi that she played during the early 1990s. Since then Ghazal has been involved in numerous television projects.
After the success of 'Marvi' and Ghazal's impressive performance in the play, she was cast for another drama serial based on a Sindhi folk tale by the name of 'Noori Jam Tamachi'. Following these two plays, Ghazal took a break from acting after her son was born and only lent her vocal skills to a number of projects requiring audio recordings.
She made her comeback to television a few years back, appearing in dramas like 'Ambulance' (Indus Vision) and the soap 'Teray Janay Ke Baad' (Hum TV). For almost a year, Ghazal also played the hosting duties on Hum TV's morning show and was duly appreciated for her talent of lighting up the TV screen early morning.
