Ayeshah Alam has been a jack of all trades, making her presence felt in almost all genres of the Pakistani entertainment industry. Starting her career as a model in the year 1989, Ayeshah went on to host a groundbreaking show 'Lollywood Top 10', showing the countdown of Pakistani film songs.
Her first drama on television was 'Padash', launching her career onscreen. By that time, Ayeshah was also known as the wife of the ex-guitarist of Junoon, Brian O'Connell and also appeared in a drama series 'Talaash' alongside him and his fellow band members. By that time, Ayeshah also had her calling for stage and acted in several theatrical plays. One of her biggest achievements in terms of theater is working alongside Hollywood actress Jane Fonda in Mumbai.
In 2002, she was cast as the female lead in the film adaptation of Mohsin Hamid's Book 'Mothsmoke'. The film, called 'Daira', was screened at the Kara Film Festival.
In 2004, she made her directorial debut with the short film 'Hum'. She then resumed her duties as a host again hosting the show 'Breakfast At Dawn' with Faisal Qureshi on Dawn News. Later on, she also started hosting her own radio show on CityFM 89. As of present, she has been hosting the show 'No Reservations' on Dawn News in which she interviews different celebrities.
