Most people would remember Ahmed Ali Butt from his character Jutt that he played in the comedy drama serial 'Jutt And Bond' during the early 2000s on Indus Vision. At that time Ahmed was also a part of an underground band in Lahore called Entity, which collaborated with another band called Paradigm to form Entity Paradigm (EP).
Considering the fact that Ahmed is the grandson of celebrates classical and film singer and actress Madam Noor Jehan and son of Zille Huma who has also been a singer, Ahmed's entrance into both the fields came as a surprise to no one. In 2002, his band EP was the runner up in the 'Pepsi Battle Of the Bands', a nationwide competition for underground bands.
EP released an album titled 'Irtiqa' but could not survive for long. Even after EP broke up, Ahmed kept himself focused to producing music, however, now his scope of creativity had also expanded to production and direction. He formed a production company by the name of UnKut Productions, under which he produced several sitcoms among which 'Rubber Band' (ARY Digital) got very popular.
He also formed a new band by the name of Rubber Band that brought entertaining an humorous music that mainly targeted the youth.
