Ruby Niazi's first appearance in the public eye was through stage where she acted in numerous dramas alongside stage kings Umer Sharif and Moin Akhtar. Making her way to the small screen, Ruby acted in the comedy play 'Haey Jaydi' in the early 1990s.
However, her biggest drama to date has been 'Chand Girhan', which is still fresh in people's memories. Ruby took a break from acting for a few years but returned back to television after the launch of private channels, acting in dramas like 'Humsafar' on Indus Vision. Though selective in her work, she has always been spot on with her performances.
Ruby also acted in a number of movies. She was cast as the main female lead opposite Umer Sharif in the movie 'Mr. 420'. During her showbiz career, she also appeared in a few TV commercials, among which people might still remember her for her endorsement of 'Kursi Marka Sabun'.
