It would be hard for anyone to believe that before making a big name as a theater artist, he used to work at a car mechanic's shop. However, once he got his break into acting, he not fully capitalized on it but also managed to expand his horizons from theater to TV drama acting.

One of his most distinguished qualities has been the fact that he can perform equally well in different languages such as Urdu, Punjabi, Pothwari and Mirpuri. After getting recognition from stage, he made a move towards television acting in a number of plays like 'Zero Zero Dedh Seven' (Geo TV), 'Double Sawari' (PTV) and 'Lahori Gate' (PTV).
