Iftikhar Thakur has been a popular stage actor who got introduced to stage in the year 2000. It would be hard for anyone to believe that before making a big name as a theater artist, he used to work at a car mechanic's shop. However, once he got his break into acting, he not fully capitalized on it but also managed to expand his horizons from theater to TV drama acting.
The most unique aspect of his performances is his distinct dialog delivery and his body language which naturally leaves the audiences in a fit of laughter. One of his most distinguished qualities has been the fact that he can perform equally well in different languages such as Urdu, Punjabi, Pothwari and Mirpuri. His most popular performances have come in the TV dramas 'Miki Kharo England', 'Main Julian England', 'Mohabbat CNG', 'Roti Khol Deyo' and 'Chalak Totay'.
After getting recognition from stage, he made a move towards television acting in a number of plays like 'Zero Zero Dedh Seven' (Geo TV), 'Double Sawari' (PTV) and 'Lahori Gate' (PTV).
