Mohammad Ahmed has been one of the most talented and versatile drama writers Pakistan has ever produced. One of the most popular drama serials of the mid nineties, 'Tum Se Kehna Tha', was his creation. The drama established Ahmed as a seasoned and gifted playwright. From there onward, his pen kept on producing gem after gem and kept entertaining the TV viewers endlessly.
In the late 1990s, Rubina Ashraf directed a drama written by him called 'Rehnay Do', which aired from the former channel STN. Ahmed also acted in the drama serial, proving that he could act just as well as he can write. He also wrote a long play for PTV called 'Peela Jora', which was also directed by Rubina Ashraf. After the introduction of private channels, he started writing plays for private productions. He also wrote an army play 'Wilco', which was aired PTV Home.
Among his famous plays on private channels, the most prominent ones include 'Badtameez' (ARY Digital), 'Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat' (Geo TV), 'Azar Ki Ayegi Baraat' (Geo TV), 'Shaista Shaista' (TV One), 'Koi Aur Hai' (Geo TV) and 'Dil Ki Madham Boliyan' (TV One). He also appeared as an actor in the popular ARY Digital play 'Daam'.
