In the media industry of Pakistan, there have been many individuals who have made efforts to revolutionize the industry through their contributions in different forms of media. Seema Taher Khan is also one such individual who has constantly been striving to make a differencein Pakistani media.
Being the cofounder of Interflow Communications along with her husband, Taher A. Khan, Seema has actively been involved in different media activities for more than two decades. She has performed her duties as a director for over 400 advertisements, with her production experience spreading to all part of the world. Branching out from an advertising agency, the group soon established itself as a successful media group, including the television channels TV One, News One and Waseb TV as well as a radio channel FM 91.
As the channels' owner, she has been actively involved in the production of the programs presented on these channels. Her major work as a producer can be seen in the television plays that she has produced. The most famous among them has been 'Amar Bail', written by Umera Ahmed and directed by seasoned actress Sakina Samoo.
She also produced another play written by Umera Ahmed by the name of 'Husn Aur Husn Ara', which was directed by Nain Maniar. 'Mann Se Poocho' is also one of her efforts as a producer, shot in the scenic landscapes of Shogran. Directed by Shamoon Abbasi and written by experienced writer Zafar Mairaj, the play gained appreciation from the audiences.
This goes on to show that Seema always chooses her team very carefully as a producer. An evidence to this fact is her drama 'Sirf Aik Baar', which has been directed and co-produced by Alia Imam, not only a well known actress but also an expert director. Other popular dramas produced by her include 'Samandar', 'Mirza Aur Hameeda' and 'Haroon To Piya Teri'.
