Her work is very popular throughout the industry, and she has received nationwide fame because of it. Her modeling made her highly famous even before she reached her twenties, after which she began appearing in televised commercials.
She debuted in the drama industry when she played a role in 'Marvi', which was a hit amongst audiences. She made her debut in 1990, and is now considered to be one of the most popular Pakistani actresses around. She has recently announced plans to produce and direct a film, entitled Nachley.
