Ahmed Ali Khan is among the newer crop of directors who have carved a career in show business and have made a name for themselves in terms of their successful stint behind the camera. His work has not only shown maturity but also goes on to show the potential this talented director possesses. Since his introduction to TV direction came about at a time when private channels were on a rise in Pakistan, his work has mostly been aired as part of the drama productions under these channels.
His most famous drama to date has been 'Betiyan', which aired on Hum TV. The drama serial revolved around women issues and highlighted the problems females face in the society. In the play, written by Atif Hussain, Ahmed got the opportunity to work with seasoned actors like Zeba Shahnaz, Abid Ali, Qavi Khan and Savera Nadeem.
Another play in which he played the duties of a director was 'Mera Khoon Hua Tha', which was aired from A Plus. The drama had been penned by renowned playwright Khalil-ur-Rahman Qamar and starred Faisal Qureshi, Sana, Mustafa Qureshi and Durdana Butt among many others.
