Mehreen Jabbar is a director, producer and a Pakistani film maker. She is the daughter of Javed Jabbar, a popular Pakistani media person. Mehreen got her B.A degree from St. Joseph's College in Karachi, after which she went to study film direction from the University of California. She directer her first play in 1994, which was entitled Nivala.
Her most popular film has to be Ramchand Pakistani, which propelled her to the forefront of Pakistani film direction. The film received amazing reviews from UK, Pakistani and Indian audiences. Mehreen is also a founding member of WAR, short for War Against Rape and the Kara Film Festival.
