Sahir Lodhi is truly one of the multifaceted artists of Pakistan's showbiz industry. Very often referred to as the Pakistani version of Shahrukh Khan, Sahir has tried his hands at acting, hosting, running a radio show and has done a fairly good job with all of them.
Sahir was born in Karachi on May 21st, and later on moved to USA from where he completed his Masters. Upon return he was given his break on television by Ghazanfar Ali and started hosting a morning show aired on Indus Vision by the name Chai Time. His knowledge of Urdu literature along with the depth refelcted in his talk made him stand out among the many other debutants and from then on, there was no looking back.
Sahir went on to host some other shows as well as a radio show by the name The Sahir Show which earned him a lot of aprreciation and success. Apart from that, he also acted in some drama serials and single plays.
Sahir has two brothers and a younger sister. His sister Shaista Wahidi is also a common name on television and a popular morning show host.
Nowadays, Sahir is into establishing his foundation, The Sahir Lodhi Foundation where he is focusing on primary health care, Education, Opportunities, Motivation Inspiration and Legal Aid.
