Arguably the best dramatist and playwright of Pakistan, Haseena Moin is a legend in the Pakistani media industry. She has written a great number of television plays and dramas for the Pakistani media, and her drama serials have even gained international repute.
After migration to Pakistan, Haseena spent a few years of her life in Rawalpindi, after which she moved to Lahore. She then settled in Karachi in the 1950s, and got her graduation from the Government College For Women in 1960 and then did her Masters from Karachi University in 1963.
Some of her dramas include Ankahi, Tanhaiyaan, Dhund, Kiran Kahani, Dhoop Kinaray, Uncle Urfi, Kohar, Des Pardes, Pal Do Pal, Aansoo and Singaar. She is still very popular. Other notable works include Mere Dard ko Jo Zuban Milay, Shehzori, Shayad ke Bahar Aaye, Mohim Joo, Tum Se Mil Kar and Zer Zabar Paish.
