Shahnaz Shaikh was a popular Pakistani actress who peaked in the 1980's. She acted in blockbuster Pakistani dramas such as Ankahi and Tanhaiyaan. However, after the success of these dramas, she worked with Uncle Sargam, after which she quickly faded from the Pakistani media industry.
She did a few talk shows after these dramas, but then completely removed herself from the media industry. Her debut was on Balila, and it was reported that Indian director Raj Kapoor was looking to sign up for his movie Hina, but it didn't work out. Her most popular dramas, Unkahi and Tanhaiyaan, were both written by Haseena Moin, and even though her association with the media was scarce, she still left a mark on the industry with her honest and sincere acting. Her recent whereabouts are unknown.
