Playing the role of Emperor Akbar in the hit song 'Supreme Ishq', sung by Shabnam Majeed with its video directed by ace director Shoaib Mansoor, Rasheed Naz needs no introduction to the television and film audiences of Pakistan.

Rasheed's career as a television artist began in the year 1971 when he took up a role in a Pashto language TV drama. From there onwards, he appeared in numerous dramas in Urdu and Pashto. In 1988, Rasheed made his film debut in a Pashto language film 'Zama Jang'. In 2007, he was cast in Shoaib Mansoor's directorial debut project as a film director
