Safiya Khairi

Safiya Khairi is one of the oldest performing stars in the Pakistani media industry. Her association with the Pakistani media stretches back to the 1960's, when she first started as a performer on Radio Pakistan. Her affiliation with theater quickly established her as a rising star, and Safiya rose to the fore by the late 1970's.
Safiya Khairi is still going strong, and although she is quite old now, she can still be seen in various popular dramas, such as Chandni Raatein and Chaar Chaand. It can be safely said that Safiya's acting career has been full of success and glory. Even though she has never been able to take center stage, Safiya is a very strong supporting actor and has also earned a nomination for the Best Supporting Actress in Chaandni Raatein, a popular drama that was aired in the early 2000's.
