Sanam Baloch is the rising star among the actors of the recent generation. In a short span of time, she has made a definite place for herself giving one hit performance after the other. She has a very innocent face but strong acting skills and she comes around as a total natural in front of the camera.
Born in Karachi on July 14th, Sanam started her career soon after matric as an anchor person for a Sindhi channel KTN. 'Sanam Ji Pasand' and 'Diyoo' were the two shows she hosted for the channel. Sanam's entrance into Urdu television was through a long play called 'Kalaq'. She declares Fahad Mustafa responsible for seeing the talent in her and bringing her into Urdu dramas. She met Fahad on the sets of one of her talk shows and later on, when he was in search of a female actor for his long play Kalaq he approached Sanam and convinced her to be a part of the play.
Sanam graduated from Karachi University, and has two siblings, both of whom are brothers. The last talk show that she hosted was Morning with Hum, after which she completely ditched anchoring in favor of acting. Sanam only started acting in 2008, but with the heartfelt roles that she played in dramas like Bano, she has instantly made a name for herself in the show business industry of Pakistan.
Apart from acting, Sanam has also appeared in some Sindhi and Urdu music videos. She can also be seen in advertisements and has also been a morning show host for Hum Tv for a certain period of time.
She was greatly appreciated for her work in drama serial Dastaan which was based on a novel by Razia Butt.
