Izhar Qazi was one of the most popular Pakistani actors. Best known for his resemblance to famous actor Amitabh Bachhan, Izhar has acted in various different Pakistani films. Izhar made his film debut in 1986 as the lead actor of Ruby, a famous Pakistani film of that time.
Even though the film included various Pakistani veterans such as Shafi Mohammed and Rangeela, Izhar's performance was noted by many and he was quickly offered more roles. He was also a playback singer, having sung various songs for his own movies. Izhar died in 2007. Izhar has four daughters and one son. During his time, Izhar also released his own music album, which received mixed reviews from Pakistani audiences. Some of his works include Dulari Punjabi Anjuman, Nijat Urdu, Mera Insaaf, Manila Ke Janbaz, Rakhwala, Insaniyat Ke DUshman, Akhri Shikar, Teen Yakke Teen Chakke and Watan Ke Rakhwalay.
