In recent times, there have been many young stars who started their careers as models appearing in different magazine shoots and ramp catwalks. With time and good offers, these younger artists entered into show business and have been seen in various television productions. One such young model cum artist is Sohail Sameer, who was introduced to modeling by famous photographer Khawar Riaz.
While his hunk-like built and looks almost immediately give away the fact that he is a model, Sohail has also proven his mettle as an actor in a number of productions. His first role was as an eunuch in the tele film 'Thori Si Jagah Chahiye', which was screened on ARY Digital.
His most recent performance was in the drama 'Mujhe Hai Hukm-e-Azan', which aired on Hum TV and got great reviews from the viewers as well as critics. He has also acted in the drama serials 'Lahore Junction' (PTV), 'Kalmoohi' (Hum TV), 'Aankh Salamat, Andhay Log' (ATV) and 'Woh Subah Kab Ayegi' (ATV).
He is married to fellow TV actress Sofia Ahmad.
