Zia Mohiuddin is a very popular Pakistani actor. However, his fame does not lie in his acting skills, but it lies in his voice. Zia made his debut on screen in the Lawrence of Arabia, a movie released in 1963. He gave several other performances in England as well, and then returned to Pakistan in the late 1960's.
Upon returning, he established the PIA Arts and Dance Academy and became a TV host for his own show. He married Naheed Siddiqui, a classical dancer. He was offered the presidential position of NAPA by President Musharraf, and despite his growing age, Zia Mohiuddin is still a very active member of the Pakistani media.
