Junaid Jamshed son, Taimoor Jamshed recorded and covered various naats in order to pay tribute to their late father, Junaid Jamshed.
Junaid Jamshed is sadly no longer with us, but his legacy will always stay alive. Junaid Jamshed son, Taimoor is determined to step into their father’s shoes and make sure that the elegant persona of Junaid Jamshed always stays alive. Reportedly, the younger son, Babar has recorded “Mera Dil Badal De” which used to be his father’s favorite naat. Babar d has also covered Ilahi Teri Chokhat Pe Bikhari Ban Ke Aya Hun earlier which was originally released by Junaid Jamshed. The cover was composed very well. Junaid Jamshed son, Taimoor who is the eldest of his sons has also released his first Naat titled “Tabeeb-u-Zaman”. Junaid Jamshed son, Taimoor also mentioned regarding his Naat:
“I’d like to add that I am not trying to be like my father, I’m trying to continue his legacy and I need everyone’s love, support & duas.”
The Legacy Of Junaid Jamshed
Junaid Jamshed was among the few lucky people chosen by the Allah himself to follow the righteous path. The singer, despite being a huge success put an end to his music career and changed his ways to become a Naat-Khuwan. Earlier, Junaid Jamshed was a part of the band Vital Signs which was the first Rock band of Pakistan. In 2004, he dropped his music career and started focusing on religion. He then soon started Naat-Khuwani. Junaid Jamshed has also been included in the list of “World’s Most Influential Muslims” by “The Muslim 500”. Junaid Jamshed is an inspiration for all of us and his life is a living example that it’s never too late to seek the righteous path.
Junaid Jamshed flew to Chitral for a Tableeghi Jamaat mission along with his wife Nahya Junaid. Unfortunately, on their flight back to Islamabad on 7th December 2016, the plane crashed in Havelian KPK killing all on board including him and his wife.
