Queries are being raised in the country against the logic of awarding 10 million rupees to the chief selector of the team Inzamam-ul-Haq by the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. All over the cricket circle, people are expressing their concern over awarding 10 Million to the chief selector while the coaches are given only half to that.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif awarded cash prizes to the team and its management on the triumphant win in the ICC champion’s trophy 2017. But it seems that this prize money distribution had been a little unfair as the chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq has been given 10 million while the rest of the selectors are given only 1 million each as a prize. This logic was first criticized by the former chief selector, Iqbal Qasim, and then has been raised to a national level and now every cricket analyst has been commenting on it.

Does The Prize Given To Inzamam-ul-Haq Makes Sense?

Iqbal Qasim said that it makes no sense to give the selector 10 million while the head coach and other coaches are been granted only 5 million rupees. He also questioned the disparity between money awarded to chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq and the rest of selectors. Mohsin Hassan Khan, who was the former coach and also former chief selector, also said that it is very unfair to grant the head coach less money than the selector as the head coach has been the main reason behind the win. He also said that this money could have been donated for some better cause than this. This criticism has been taken to a higher level probably because of the fact that Inzamam ul Haq also gets 1.2 million as salary while rest of the selectors only get 300000 rupees.
