Internet Sensation, Qandeel Baloch was murdered by her younger brother on Saturday, July 16, 2016.
Qandeel Baloch was killed in the name of honour killing on Friday night while she was found dead in the morning by her parents.

Baloch was killed by her brother over honour in Muzaffarabad’s Green Town area,” the area’s RPO told The Express Tribune. “It appears that she was strangled to death,” the RPO added. Initial reports suggested Baloch was shot dead.
As per the reports, Baloch claimed that she had been receiving threats from her brother as well as some other unknown sources. She was being targeted due to her provocative pictures and videos on social media.

Further investigations and reports revealed that Baloch was being strangled to death. Her parents told while talking to a local news source that she was strangled to death last night by her brother Wasim.
Baloch had an argument with her brother last night. The 30 years old Wasim strangled her to death while she was asleep. When her parents woke they found her dead body.
Baloch’s parents have also been taken into custody for further investigation.
Mufti Abdul Qavi and Qandeel Baloch’s scandal created much hype. But Mufti Qavi said he has forgiven Baloch. He also offered to lead her funeral prayers.

Qandeel Balochs brother is on the run. Mufti Abdul Qavi has filed an F.I.R against him. Till now, the police force is unable to arrest him.
Baloch was living in Multan for six days. She fled to her hometown from Karachi without informing anyone since she was having death threats from past three weeks. Baloch also asked for security but the information ministry ignored her request keeping her past record of getting publicity.
As per the family sources, Qandeel’s brother Wasim was upset with her and asked her to quit modelling.

The 26 years old model told that she never contacted Ashiq Hussain after their divorce. I filed for the divorce since I want to study and establish a career.
Her marriage stayed for a year. She said that she ran with their son after one year of this marriage. She sought refuge in Darul Aman. Since she could not bear the expenses for treatment of her son, who fell sick, she has to give the custody to Ashiq Hussain.
She further continued that now she has enough resources to brought up her only son, she will fight for his custody.
