Former Star All-rounder Abdul Razzaq Believes Pakistani Team Is Good Enough to Beat India in Champions Trophy 2017

Former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq believes, the Pakistan team is good enough to beat India in the Champions Trophy 2017.

Abdul Razzaq who have played 265 one-day internationals, 46 test and 32 t20s has urged that Pakistan’s performance in Champions Trophy 2017 tournament can be surprisingly amazing.

The 37-Years old said that:

Pakistan have a good enough team to field against India and although they are missing some power-hitters like Sharjeel Khan and Umar Akmal, Sarfraz’s [Ahmed] team can still beat them.

According to him, the team has very good batting lineup like Azhar Ali, Ahmed Shehzad, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik and the Captain Sarfraz Ahmad. He also added that Pakistan would have to play the new ball carefully. According to him, Azhar Ali has a huge responsibility on his shoulder to give the team a decent start.

The key thing for Pakistan to win this Champions Trophy 2017, is that the team should not crack under pressure and handle the situation nicely. The players just have to keep themselves focused on victory.

Former Pakistani fast bowler Jalaluddin thinks that Pakistan’s bowling has won hundreds of matches for us and it will be the same case with this match. If our bowling fires back then Pakistan’s chances are very bright in this Champions Trophy 2017.

“Hasan Ali and Muhammad Amir will be our main bowlers as they have variation and pace and has helped Pakistan win several matches recently”

Razzaq said talking to Express Tribune.

Junaid Khan’s record against India is very impressive given the fact that he has the capability to create serious troubles for Indian batting unit. Shadab Kahn is a recent addition in Pakistan’s spin bowling department and India will try to go after him in the match, so the team management should give him its full support and confidence to play his natural game in Champions Trophy 2017.
