A series of nervous breakdowns and several hospital visits that finally let Falak find the path to discovering life with a new perspective. A girl never close to religion discovers lifeís purpose and finds herself connecting with God as she had never before. Eventually Falak and Salman (Her Husband) are reunited when his love interest Tabinda leaves him. Falak accepts him back in her life but is never obsessed over him again.
Sarmad Khoosat, as a director, made some incredible casting choices that were loved by most of you. Other than Mahira khan playing the very moving role of Falak, Shehr-e-Zat casted Samina Pirzada as Falakís grandmother. Falakís grandmother also played an important role in shaping Falakís life and bringing her closer to what life truly meant. A much loved actress, Samina Pirzada was also greeted with appreciative remarks and proved that Sarmad made a wise decision in casting roles. Meekal Zulfiqar, Hina Bayat and Mohib Mirza also played significant roles in the serial that just brought the story together.
