Pakistani pop-star Ali Zafar believes Danyal Zafar will have to prove himself in case of criticism.

While Ali Zafar voices Julie, his younger brother and bulbous star these days take the lead guitar. Talking about Danyal, Ali Zafar believes he has yet to achieve so much in his life as this is just the beginning. He said with modest vanity and optimism:

“I know how talented he (Danyal) is, what you’ve seen of him so far is just a tip of the iceberg, having said that, he is my brother and I love him, but from the very beginning I told him that your journey and your struggles will be your own. If there is such criticism, he will have to prove himself.”

Ali Zafar has recently appeared on Coke Studio with his latest song called ‘Julie’. This has him most euphoric. Julie is released on the fourth episode of Coke Studio.

“Julie, I’m most excited about. It’s my own composition and lyrics, and it’s a fun, peppy song with a very interesting arrangement,” he began. “You’ll get to hear my own style in that song, in fact, I wanted it to be the title track for my next album that I’m currently working on, but I asked Shani Arshad, who ended up producing it, to listen to it and he then wanted it to be at CS this year.”

Ali Zafar started his career as a music composer and gained popularity by his single “Channo” from his debut album Huqa Pani which sold over five million copies worldwide. “Channo” turned out to be a huge success topping many music charts and earned him several awards for Best Music Album and Artist. Ali Zafar is not just a singer but an actor and model as well as song writer and a painter. He started out on Pakistani TV then established a career in Hindi cinema. He has done numerous protuberant roles in Hindi films including Tere Bin Laden and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. There is so much we are waiting to see and hear from these two tremendous brother artists. We can hardly wait!
