" Most of us watch Pakistani dramas because we want to see our culture.I am not talking about our society because most of the people in our society are getting "MODERN" day by day..

I believe Mass Media plays a big role in promoting different ideas but unfortunately most of the channels love to focus on revealed dressing,extramarital affairs,and all the bad things.They show People drinking alcohol like most of the people (Non alcoholics)drink water.
There are several dramas that were telecasted decades ago but still in this era people want to watch those well known dramas again.Those dramas didnot show any V^^^^^^^^,exposed dressing or glamour but still thoe dramas are evergreen.So those who think that some cheap stuff makes the drama popular ,they are badly mistaken.

In some program some actor was asked that why good dramas are not being made these days while dramas from the past were big hits?He said see we used to have only one channel in Past and now a days several channels are there.What a ridiculous answer?Then again the question arises why big hits from the past are still big hits???????

We have a rich culture and we donot need to copy other cultures.

I should have been done some thing that really bores me instead of watching this. "

" I think Geo is the only channel that promotes pakistani culture. They promote pakistani clothes and urdu language. But most people on weddings like to play INDIAN SONGS!! But yes they do promote indian movies in morning shows which is wrong I dont like it but its also true that people want to see this.
Yesterday I was watching a drama on ARY and all I could see was girls wearing western clothes that we DO NOT WANT TO SEE while living abroad. I could not see this drama with kids sitting beside me but Geo is the only FAMILY entertainment channel and I appreciate that! This drama was good but last few mins were disappointing :( "
